Body Type part 2 by rika-dono Body Type part 2 by rika-dono
Meant as a personnal exercise NOT A TUTO OR A REF. But you can use it as ref if you like it.

Variation of torso and height.

I love your art work, but do you know any tips on how to create the head. Every time I try to create one it just looks horrible and too pointy on the chin. C:

This is helpful. Drawing female figures is more difficult than I originally thought.

I love how every time I see a body exercise for women, everyone bitches and whines about how you didn't include "this type" of body or "not everyone has bla bla bla."

Omfg. Makes me so mad!

I like this, and its interesting to see the changes of each one. Don't let these ass-hats spoil your fun.

How is this a body type chart when everybody has almost the same legs and skeletal structure? I don't see any difference other then the height and the chest sizes of these figures. I noticed in her follow up that she made some variants of the legs, that's good. I mean, it's not a bad thing to have the same perfect figure everywhere, but when it's a "body type chart" don't you expect to see some variety? It's good to see variety... Sorry, I'm just an artist rambling on.. Ignore me :/

It's not a body type chart. It doesn't say that anywhere.

try adjust the proportions such as longer  legs shorter torso or longer torso shorter legs i only say this because im a petite curvy women with slightly shorter legs and a longer torso than a perfectly proportioned female and a lot of artist draw female with perfect portions though it is artistically pleasing its not realistic.

Who says that it has to be realistic? Besides, it looks more like her style than anything else.

What about some chubby girls in more than just the hips/thighs? That can be really challenging to draw if you've never tried before, I'd recommend giving it a shot.
